Foam prewrap is an indispensable component of every med kit, from the emergency hiking kit to the professional athletic trainer's bag. While the traditional use for prewrap is to prevent athletic tape from adhering to the skin, it possesses a multitude of other applications that make it invaluable for athletes. In recent years, it has become a popular choice as a hair band to keep flyaway hairs out of athletes' eyes, as it is easy to tear but maintains its strength when twisted. Additionally, it is used to create knee and elbow straps that alleviate the pressure on painful tendons, owing to its ability to tear easily yet remain sturdy.
These rolls are sold in bulk, without retail packaging, and are all produced for IthacaSports, similar to the quality of Mueller or Cramer products. The Rainbow pack offers a selection of 12 random, different colors, excluding white or natural.
